Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Canton

You can tell this is a new hotel. The room had USB ports, plenty of plugs, big TV on the wall... The biggest complaint was the lack of towels and that housekeeping never came in to replenish the number of towels. We were supposed to have 3 of us and we only were given 3 bath towels (at least that was correct), 1 wash cloth and 2 hand towels. They quickly gave us more when we went to the front desk. No hot tub, but the pool was really nice, and we got lucky to have the pool to ourselves. The back area was beautiful! There were lots of chairs, fire pit and grill! We didn't use it but saw how nice it was. Had considered maybe heading back with dinner and enjoying this space. The location is ideal! Burger King, McDonald's & Pizza Hut are within a walk along with Dollar Tree, and other shopping and gas. Only about 10-15 minutes to Potsdam (where our son was graduating from Clarkson)

The staff was pleasant, breakfast was great.

College Open House- very close - best night sleep I have had in a long time - my daughter said the same - clean - bathroom tub and shower clean and working- full breakfast- had plenty of choices

Location was good .

That they had hot chocolate at the coffee station. Not many hotels do that. Big plus for me. I don’t drink coffee
